Skokie, Illinois – What Every American Should Know Library Series
Based on the Aspen Institute’s “What Every American Should Know” initiative, the goal of this event is to explore local perspectives of how this country can cultivate a sense of shared destiny and common civic purpose in an age of increasing diversity and widening inequality. We are asking: what do you think every American should know to be civically and culturally literate?
