Join us for the SOF Discussion Reception: Magic Mushrooms and Beyond: The New Frontier of Psychedelic Medicine featuring Dr. Ben Medrano, Integrative Psychiatrist & Medical Director, Field Trip; Dr. Gita Vaid, Board Certified psychiatrist and psychoanalyst; and Dr. Rachel Yehuda, Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience and Director of the Center for Psychedelic Psychotherapy and Trauma Research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. The panel will discuss the use of psychedelics, such as ketamine and psilocybin, to treat persistent and often debilitating psychological and emotional disorders. The experts will discuss their methodology, the effects of the drugs on the brain, and the powerful results they have witnessed firsthand to improve mental health. This event is open exclusively to members of the Society of Fellows (SOF)and special guests of the Aspen Institute.
