Transatlantic Strategic Dialogue II
In cooperation with Aspen European Strategy Group, the Aspen Strategy Group convened the second meeting of the Transatlantic Strategic Dialogue. Delegations from the U.S. and Europe met in Washington, DC to discuss the current state of the transatlantic relationship.
The meeting covered topics including the technological revolution and national security, how to confront the challenges posed by China and Russia, trade tensions between the U.S. and Europe, the state of NATO at 70, and how to repair the transatlantic divide. The delegations also heard speeches by Congressman Adam Schiff, UK Ambassador to NATO Sarah MacIntosh, and the State Department’s Director of the Office of Policy Planning Kiron Skinner.
