Final Funding Call: Effective Use of the Last Round of TAACCCT Funds
Final Call for Funding – Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) Grants. The Obama administration will award $450 million in TAACCCT grant funds to expand job-driven training partnerships between community colleges and employers. This round of funding is the final installment of a $2 billion, four-year initiative and includes special incentives for applicants focusing on career pathways, the use of integrated data systems to track student academic and career success, and business and industry partnerships.
Skills for America’s Future will host two 60 minute webinars to provide guidance to prospective applicants.
The first webinar will focus on state efforts to promote career pathways and how states are using data to monitor and improve community college outcomes for students. The session will feature national organizations that have run and supported TAACCT-funded partnerships. Guests will include representatives from:

- National Skills Coalition’s – Workforce Quality Data Campaign
- Achieving the Dream
The second webinar will feature business and business association leaders who will discuss the benefits and challenges of community college-employer partnerships. Guests will include representatives from:
- National Restaurant Association
- American Welding Society
