Join us for a conversation with memoirists Ashley C. Ford (“Somebody’s Daughter), Eleanor Henderson (“Everything I Have is Yours”) and Michelle Zauner (“Crying in H Mart”). The panel will be moderated by memoirist and New York Times best-selling author Dani Shapiro (“Inheritance”).

ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Ashley C. Ford is the author of the New York Times best-selling memoir “Somebody’s Daughter.” She’s written or guest-edited for New York magazine and The New York Times and many other web and print publications. She has been named among Forbes magazine’s 30 Under 30 in Media and Variety’s New Power of New York.

Eleanor Henderson is the author of the memoir “Everything I Have Is Yours,” and two novels: “The Twelve-Mile Straight” and “Ten Thousand Saints,” which was named one of the 10 Best Books of the Year by The New York Times and a finalist for the Award for First Fiction from The Los Angeles Times. The is the chair of the writing department and the Robert Ryan Professor in the Humanities at Ithaca College.

Michelle Zauner is the author of “Crying in H Mart: A Memoir,” as well as a director and lead singer and songwriter of the indie rock band Japanese Breakfast.

ABOUT THE MODERATOR

Dani Shapiro is the author of the instant New York Times best-selling memoir “Inheritance,” which was published in January 2019 by Knopf. Her other books include the memoirs “Hourglass,” “Still Writing,” “Devotion,” and “Slow Motion,” and five novels, including “Black & White” and “Family History.” In February of 2019, Dani launched an original podcast, Family Secrets, in collaboration with iHeartMedia. An iTunes Top 10 podcast, the series features stories from guests who—like Dani— have uncovered life-altering and long-hidden secrets from their families’ past.
