Women Delivering Development: Reproductive Health, Environment, and the Post-2015 Agenda
We hosted a panel of leading experts for a working breakfast on reproductive health and sustainable development in the context of the United Nations Post-2015 agenda, the Sustainable Development Goals, and FP2020.
A screening of “Healthy People, Healthy Environment,” the Wilson Center’s documentary on integrated population, health, and environment in Tanzania, served as a springboard for discussion among leaders in the global population, reproductive health, environment, and sustainable development communities.
Timed to coincide with the 2013 UN Special Event to Follow-Up to the Millennium Development Goals, this briefing helped frame the discussions at the UN General Assembly about the post-2015 agenda and the goals of FP2020. Outcomes included concrete recommendations and workplan of activities in 2013-2014.
