Aspen, CO and Washington, DC, November 20, 2024 – The Aspen Institute is excited to announce the 12th annual Aspen Ideas: Health festival this June 22-25, 2025 live from our Aspen Meadows campus. The expert gathering kicks off the Aspen Ideas Festival and brings together 1000-plus healthcare and public health practitioners, researchers, business leaders, policymakers, advocates, artists, and journalists to engage in deep dialogue to elevate and accelerate bold approaches to better health for all.

Passes for Aspen Ideas: Health are on sale now, with an early bird discount of $500 off when passes are purchased before December 31, 2024. Members of the media who plan on covering Aspen Ideas: Health are also invited to apply for press credentials here.

This year’s thought-provoking programming will focus on six central programming tracks: Decoding the Brain, Audacious Science, Payoff: Investing in Health, Food for Thought, Uncommon Allies, and Pop Health. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend over 60 sessions across these exciting and expansive views on healthcare.

  • Decoding the Brain: Neuroscience is unlocking the mysteries of the human brain, transforming our understanding of mental health, behavior, memory, and diseases like Alzheimer’s while reshaping approaches to learning, cognition, and social interactions.
  • Audacious Science: Biomedical innovation, driven by cutting edge tech, is revolutionizing healthcare with advancements in artificial intelligence, 3D-printed organs, therapeutic psychedelics, cancer vaccines, and precision microbiome editing, while emphasizing equity and privacy.
  • Payoff: Investing in Health: The public and private sectors must align resources and strategies to prioritize cutting-edge science, equitable care delivery, and workforce challenges, ensuring quality healthcare for all.
  • Food for Thought: From sustainable farming to food as medicine, experts are addressing obesity, food deserts, and the climate impact of food production to redefine how we eat for health and the planet’s future.
  • Uncommon Allies: Transformative change in health can’t be done alone. Breaking siloes, fostering non-traditional collaborations across science, art, faith, government, and business will be necessary to bridge diverse perspectives and amplify impact.
  • Pop Health: Popular culture’s influence on health behaviors offers opportunities to promote evidence-based habits and social connections, but it can also promote dangerous fads and pseudo-science. Learn how we can combat misinformation while fostering wellness for all.
