NSA Cybersecurity Director, Michigan Secretary of State added to roster of cyber policy experts for November 15

Washington, D.C., October 11 – Following a series of previous speaker announcements for the 2023 Aspen Cyber Summit, Aspen Digital publishes additional cyber policy leaders who will take the stage on Wednesday, November 15 at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. Additions to this year’s lineup include top representatives from the National Security Agency (NSA), the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and the Department of Energy (DoE), as well as Michigan’s Secretary of State.
Leaders from many federal agencies and departments will once again share their insights with Aspen Cyber Summit attendees. Joining this year’s roster are NSA Cybersecurity Director Rob Joyce and DoE’s Director for the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response, Puesh Kumar, who will discuss nation-state threats to our critical infrastructure.
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson will join Harvard University Responsible AI Fellow Rumman Chowdhury and others to cover election security ahead of the presidential primaries in early 2024. CISA Executive Assistant Cybersecurity Director Eric Goldstein will share insights on cybercrime trends. Additionally, Boston University Professor Jack Weinstein (Lieutenant General, USAF, (Ret.)), will join a fireside conversation with the White House’s Anne Neuberger to talk about the intersection of cybersecurity and space-based systems.
Attendees of the 8th annual Summit will also hear from seasoned journalists, including New York Times Technology Reporter Kashmir Hill and The Record from Recorded Future News Reporter Suzanne Smalley.
