Aspen Institute Economic Mobility Fellowship
An Action Learning Lab for Corporate Leaders
Business has immense power to solve complex problems and to generate wealth and opportunity – but more and more, the question being asked today is ‘for whom?’. Forty-four percent of full-time workers in the US make below a living-wage, meaning they don’t have enough to cover basic housing, food, and healthcare costs. Now, more than ever, we need business leaders to create a world in which more people prosper from business success.
The Economic Mobility Fellowship supports business leaders who aim to increase economic mobility for low-income individuals and families while building long-term value for their company. Leveraging the successful Aspen Institute First Movers Fellowship Program – and with continued support of the Ballmer Group – this new Fellowship equips internal change-leaders with the skills, data, and tools they need to accelerate projects that advance greater economic opportunity and prosperity in the United States.
