Carlos Dominguez has been with the California Attorney General’s Office for more than a decade. As a deputy in the criminal appellate section, he has briefed and argued numerous cases in state and federal courts, including the California Supreme Court, California Court of Appeal, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. As lead counsel, he has prosecuted trial matters throughout the superior courts in California. Carlos is also committed to the Los Angeles community through various mentoring and diversity programs, including serving on the board of California ChangeLawyers and participating in several committees of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. For several years, he has provided pro bono assistance to victims of domestic violence. Based on his service, he has been honored by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, the California Attorney General, and the State Bar of California. As an adjunct professor, Carlos teaches legal writing at USC Gould School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his law degree from USC Gould School of Law.
