Alex Slippen is the Senior Associate, Stewardship and Campaign for the Office of Institutional Advancement. In this role, he works on all aspects of donor stewardship by sharing impact with the organization’s partners and investors, as well as supporting the Institute’s fundraising campaign.
With nearly a decade of nonprofit development experience, Alex joined the Institute in 2024. Previously, Alex was a Development Associate for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, managing the organization’s philanthropic arm and fundraising efforts. Prior to that, he also held philanthropic roles at the Ethics and Compliance Initiative and a role in communications at Defenders of Wildlife.
Originally from and currently based in the Washington, DC area, Alex received a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
