Ana Paula González (Mexico) is the Business Strategy Director at New Ventures, where she leads sourcing for the investment fund and acceleration programs, oversees acceleration and investment portfolio technical assistance programs, and is building the company’s business intelligence unit. Prior to New Ventures, Ms. González was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Mexico City, where she worked in private equity, consumer goods and financial services industries, supporting clients on topics such as: investment strategies, IPOs, market entry and go-to-market strategies, and organizational restructuring. Ms. González holds an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School, where she obtained the “Nathan Gantcher Prize for Social Enterprise,” and obtained an undergraduate degree in Business with honors from Tec de Monterrey campus Guadalajara. New Ventures’ mission is to catalyze social and environmental companies. It seeks to spearhead the next generation of innovative enterprises that, in addition to being profitable, are solving the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges.
