Andreas Pashos currently serves as the program manager for the aerospace manufacturing technology program at Nunez Community College in Chalmette, Louisiana. The aerospace program launched in fall 2018 with the goal of training local individuals to become aerospace technicians and support businesses in the area by providing a two-year associate’s degree in applied science in AMT. Andreas manages the detail and high level tasks, goals and vision for the program to establish and grow a thriving aerospace workforce in the region. In addition to directing the program he also serves as one of the aerospace instructors and is growing from and enjoying the educator role immensely. Before entering higher education, his experience was in industry, working for Textron after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering. Initially at Textron he was part of the engineering leadership Development program, but at its conclusion he transitioned into project management and worked on various projects and products from design to delivery. He was born in the Boston area as a first-generation American to Greek parents and spent his childhood growing up between Boston and Greece.
