Andrew Lewis is a Policy Advisor with the Aspen Tech Policy Hub. In this role, he mentors and supports policy trainees and assists in managing the Hub’s programming.
Prior to joining Aspen, Andrew was a practicing attorney, where his work focused on internal investigations and complex litigation, with a pro bono practice focused on civil rights advocacy. In addition, Andrew clerked for Justice Goodwin Liu on the California Supreme Court and Judge Jeffrey Howard on the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Previously, Andrew worked as a Special Assistant in the State Department’s Bureau of Public Affairs, where he educated international journalists on U.S. foreign policy and domestic policymaking processes. Andrew holds a J.D. from the Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review, and a B.S. in International Affairs from Georgetown University. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
