Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Dana worked as a trainee and intern for Leaders for Climate Action, the U.S. State Department, and UNEP Finance Initiative. She received her bachelor’s in International Relations from The University of Texas at Austin and hold a master’s in Politics and Public Administration from The University of Konstanz, where she wrote her thesis examining the mining industry’s effect on environmental degradation in South America. Dana has also co-founded a small non-profit called The Intern’s Foundation, helping bridge the intern’s diversity gap within international organizations. In her free time, Dana enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog. She also enjoys traveling and immersing herself in new cultures. Dana is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and can understand German and French, and working on getting basic knowledge of Serbian. When she is not outside running and enjoying nature, Dana loves to work on projects that strive to make a difference.
