Danny’s career has focused on bringing people together, whether through urban design, storytelling, or food. In previous professional lives, Danny has been, among other things, executive director of Transportation Alternatives, senior vice president at Civic Entertainment Group, program director at the Knight Foundation, co-founder of Feastly, policy advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and program specialist at the International Rescue Committee. Danny is a frequent writer and speaker and has lectured around the world on topics from urban planning to terrorism financing. A graduate of Connecticut College and Princeton University, he lives in New York City with his wife and three children.
Danny is coming to Socrates to build on the program’s success and expansive alumni network. He seeks to create meaningful, creative, and engaging ways to bring old and new participants together around dialogue and shared learning.
