Francis R. Hoffman is the Founder and Principal Architect of the award winning architectural firm Francis R. Hoffman Architects and is the former chairman of C.A.G., the Construction Advisory Group, Inc. After a short stint with the Army Air Force during World War II, Francis received an Engineering degree from the University of Miami in 1949. He has been a licensed Architect since 1954, operating primarily from Miami Beach, Florida and Los Angeles California, on projects throughout the United States. In addition to his California state license, Francis is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He has served as an Oral Examiner Commissioner of the California State Board of Architectural Examiners. Francis, along with his wife Muriel are original founders of the Henry Crown Fellowship Program at the Aspen Institute. He is the sole Trustee of the Henry and Gladys Crown Charitable Trust Fund and is a permanent member of the Henry Crown Fellowship Board of Overseers. Francis created and produces the Henry Crown Leadership Award which is conferred annually at the Aspen Institute Annual Awards Dinner. He is also a board member of the non- profit McBride Foundation.Â
