Georgina Elliott is a Manager, Community & Labour Market with the City of Toronto, Employment & Social Services. After graduating from the University of Toronto, with an Honours Degree in Psychology/Sociology, she began to work professionally in the Social Services field in 1988. Currently, she is responsible for Employer and Stakeholder Engagement with a responsibility to develop and manage relationships with employers and other workforce stakeholders that enable job seekers (Ontario Works clients and City residents) to develop relevant skills, gain work experience and access jobs; while helping to meet Toronto’s Workforce needs. Georgina has extensive experience in advancing workforce development strategies, such as: the Regent Park Revitalization and employment plan, the Waterfront Toronto Employment Initiative, the City of Toronto’s Social Procurement Program and community based Employment and Training Initiatives. Her portfolio includes the development of an Employment Sector Plan for the Construction Sector.

Georgina Elliott is a member of the Toronto Sector Skills Academy, Class of 2018, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
