Grace is passionate about social justice, educational equity, and is dedicated to working with underprivileged communities. As a product of the Rutgers Future Scholars program in New Jersey, she was inspired to work in education and expand opportunities for youth.
Grace earned her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University-New Brunswick where she double majored in psychology and women’s and gender studies. She previously worked as a support coordinator for adults with developmental disabilities where she advocated and identified specialized needs for her clients.
As a proud Peruvian immigrant, Grace is driven to create inclusive spaces for individuals with multicultural backgrounds and diverse upbringings. She credits her upbringing for her love and commitment to her community. During her spare time, Grace enjoys going through her ever-growing collection of books, taking her dogs on trips, and watching musicals. Although artistically challenged, Grace also enjoys making her way through paint by numbers, coloring books, and is a novice knitting aficionado.
