Hugo Flores (Mexico) is Associate Physician in the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Co-Founder and CEO of Compañeros en Salud (CES), Mexican branch of Partners In Health. He worked in the Sierra region of Chiapas with PIH supported project and later decided to start the PIH official branch. Through a partnership with the minister of health at the state and federal levels, two of the top medical schools in Mexico, CES implements academic program for compulsory social service year for physicians in Mexico that revitalized several rural clinics in isolated regions.
