Jo’Dasha King is pursuing a degree in pharmacy with a minor in criminal justice at Southern Illinois University -Edwardsville. She is a leader, and a creator in artistry ranging from painting to writing books. She promotes social justice through groups such as the Black student union on campus and participates with the NAACP. Jody is a three-time national gold medalist for the NAACP ACT-SO. She is currently a pharmacy technician and plans to become a pharmaceutical lawyer, hoping to help the victims of pharmaceutical corruption. She also plans to educate adolescents on substance abuse as well as creating a safe environment for those recovering from substance abuse. Jody King is an Aspen Young Leaders Fellow in the 2020-2021 St. Louis cohort.
