As the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications, Julia oversees strategic communications, publications, and events for the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program. She has worked for nearly two decades in nonprofit marketing and communications leading content and digital strategy at a variety of organizations, including the National Trust for Historic Preservation, United Nations Foundation, and Case Foundation.
A published author and award-winning writer, Julia holds an MA in Writing from Johns Hopkins University and a dual B.S. in Television-Radio-Film and Marketing from Syracuse University. She is also a trained facilitator with an executive certificate from Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership. Julia lives in Arlington, Virginia, with her family.
