Kammy is the Director of Training & Leadership Development at 482Forward. She was born and raised in Ferndale, MI. After graduating from Kalamazoo College with a BA in History, she began her education career as a middle school reading and social studies teacher on the Navajo Nation. She discovered an interest in adult learning when she worked to support novice teachers as an instructional coach, and, after moving back to Michigan, worked as both a fifth grade teacher and to support teachers as a school administrator in southwest Detroit. Kammy firmly believes that those who are most impacted must lead, and she loves that her current role is focused on supporting parents & community members in building the skills they need to lead justice work in the city. She also organizes around anti-racism in her hometown.
Kammy Webb is a member of the Detroit Workforce Leadership Academy Class of 2020, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
