Kyah Donald is an honor roll student who strives for excellence in all of her endeavors, including AP and honors courses throughout her high school career. She currently participates in several leadership programs including Wyman Teen Leadership, 4U 2:52 Leadership Group as well as the Determined Strong Women Group. Kyah is also involved in extracurricular activities such as Ritenour High School’s Step Team and Renaissance Club. In addition to her extracurricular activities she spends countless hours volunteering at her church, The St.Louis Dream Center, and in the community assisting with child care and pet care.
She is actively engaged in Project Lead The Way Engineering courses where she gains hands on experience in a classroom setting taught by an engineering professional. Kyah strives to be involved in a diverse setting in the Engineering field and plans to attend Missouri University Science and Technology to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Kyah joined Aspen Young Leaders Fellowship with the desire to gain the building blocks and knowledge to become a focused leader while engaging fellow youth. Her goal of effective leadership will not only break the systematic cycle of poverty in her community but will also have a lasting community impact. She looks forward to all the many successes that Aspen will provide.
