As Senior Manager for Corporate & Foundation Relations at the Aspen Institute, Laurie builds and manages relationships with key organizational funders across a multitude of issue areas. She works closely with policy program directors and senior leadership to identify opportunities for new growth while supporting long-standing partnerships. She also manages the Foundation Presidents Roundtable speaking series, produced in collaboration with the Program on Philanthropy & Social Innovation, as well as annual events at the Aspen Ideas Festival.
Laurie has over 20 years’ experience in the private and non-profit sectors, with a focus on corporate social responsibility, grantmaking, and development. Prior to her time at the Aspen Institute, Laurie oversaw corporate grantmaking at Freddie Mac in McLean, VA; served as division director at the Latin American Youth Center in Washington DC; and helped launch the e-commerce division of the UK-based bath and beauty retailer, The Body Shop.
Laurie holds a master’s degree in public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University.
