Leatrice McNeal is a rising third-year student at Webster University pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology with an emphasis on mental health, and a minor in women, gender, and sexuality studies. With this degree, they will go on to graduate school to complete a Master’s in Counseling. After earning their graduate degree, Leatrice will eventually have their own private practice, specializing in Black mental health. This private practice will be open to everyone, but their focus will be the mental health of Black women. Along with their studies, they are the President of the Society of Women of Color, an organization dedicated to helping women of color on campus. Furthermore, Leatrice is a Student Ambassador, who directly works under Chancellor Beth Stroble to acquire funding for various Webster University projects and scholarships. Leatrice McNeal is an Aspen Young Leaders Fellow in the 2020-2021 St. Louis cohort.
