Lizhong Liu is APEP’s Research and Management Intern. She is participating in APEP’s evaluations, primarily by applying data cleaning and data analysis. She is also about to delve deeper into the evaluation of the “Women and Girls Lead Global” campaign carried out by Independent Television Service (ITVS) in eight countries. She provides administrative support for APEP as well, including assisting in event logistics, financial management, blog post writing, and website maintenance.
Lizhong is an M.A. candidate in Public Policy at the Harris School of Public Policy, the University of Chicago, where she takes a variety of courses in Economics, Applied Politics, and Data Analysis. Her experiences are also amplified there by working as a student consultant for local Nonprofits and researching for a startup. Prior to Harris, she got her B.A. in Management from Renmin University of China. She is enthusiastic about policy research in multiple areas, including social policy (Healthcare and Family policy), economic policy, and environmental policy.
