Lydia X. Z. Brown is a scholar/organizer/attorney addressing state and interpersonal violence targeting disabled people living at the intersections of race, class, gender, sexuality, faith, language, and nation. Lydia is Privacy & Data Policy Counsel at the Center for Democracy & Technology, addressing algorithmic discrimination and disability, and the Autistic Women & Nonbinary Network’s Director of Policy, Advocacy, & External Affairs. They are the Fund for Community Reparations for Autistic People of Color’s Interdependence, Survival, & Empowerment’s founding director, Georgetown University’s Disability Studies Program core faculty, and adjunct professorial lecturer in American University’s Critical Race, Gender, & Culture Studies Department.
