Michelle Cyrus has been in higher education for twenty-three years, working with all student populations. Michelle is the Director, Adult College Completion at Detroit Drives Degrees, Detroit Regional Chamber. She is working to support the adult learner in the Greater Detroit Metro Area interested in returning to college or attending for the first time. Michelle is committed to empowering, engaging, and assisting adults in their educational journey. She is a strong proponent of education, believing that education is the great equalizer in shifting one’s economic and social trajectory. Michelle is a US Army military veteran. She currently is in the process of completing a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education.
Michelle Cyrus is a member of the Detroit Workforce Leadership Academy Class of 2020, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
