Mirelle Blassnig, Senior Program Design and Development Analyst for the Government of Ontario, started her career as an employment counsellor at a Toronto Employment Service provider and eventually began managing a program that assisted participants to apply for skills development training. Mirelle also embarked on a year-long position in London, England managing a national youth initiative for young people at risk of social exclusion. Upon joining government, she worked in varying capacities, including regional stewardship for Workforce Planning and Development Boards (Local Boards), early implementation for the Local Employment Planning Council pilots and the development of SkillsAdvance sector-focused pilots.
Mirelle Blassnig is a member of the Toronto Sector Skills Academy, Class of 2016-17, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
