Roberta Zapf joined the ANDE team as Executive Assistant in July 2017. In her previous role as Administrative Assistant for the Social Performance Task Force (SPTF), Roberta worked to clarify work streams and fortify her colleagues’ work promoting responsible inclusive finance in double bottom-line institutions. Previously, as Executive Assistant to Bill Drayton, Founder of Ashoka, Roberta served as the information hub to promote his vision for the organization of supporting social entrepreneurs’ innovative solutions to challenges faced in their communities. Her volunteer efforts have included working pro-bono as a columnist for The Baltimore Chronicle, co-creating a self-published local newsletter whose profits entirely benefited the social organizations featured, and more recently founding a Takoma Park civic engagement group. Roberta is fluent in French and spends her free time researching family history and hiking anywhere green.
