Sean Meade is Program Manager for the Henry Crown Fellowship. Previously, he worked at the Calloway Fine Art & Consulting where he served as Gallery Manager, organizing exhibitions, gallery events, and maintaining client and artist relationships. Prior to moving to Washington, he was a co-founder and the Assistant Director of SANDBOX, an interdisciplinary environmental art residency program at Washington College in Chestertown, MD. He has six years of experience in gallery and event management, and has curated over 60 exhibitions. Sean earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Art & Art History from Washington College in 2012 after initially studying political science. Upon his matriculation he served as Assistant Curator of the college’s new Kohl Gallery until 2015. As a result of growing up on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and Chesapeake Bay, he has a great passion for the outdoors and environmental conservation. Sean is also an avid book reader, art collector, science fiction aficionado, and pre-modern history fan.
