Dr. Shantay Bolton is vice president of human resources at Tulane University. She is responsible for leading the organization in the design, development and implementation of HR programs, services and systems. Previously she also held roles as assistant vice president of HR strategic initiatives and associate vice president of human resources at Tulane, as well as vice president of HR at Tuskegee University. Bolton has more than 15 years experience in human resources, implementing leadership development programs, employee engagement, talent management and strategic training projects through organizational development. As the creator of E3: Engage, Educate, Empower, an Action Learning Model for Employee Engagement and Coaching, she uses it as the foundation to build teams and to facilitate organizational culture transformation. Dr. Bolton is a professional devoted to connecting workforce development theory to practical application through HR functions and OD practices in higher education.
Shantay Bolton is a member of the New Orleans Workforce Leadership Academy, Class of 2019, one of several Workforce Leadership Academies in localities across North America.
