Shevika Mishra is Associate Director, Impact and Strategic Projects, the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN) at the Aspen Institute. In this role, Shevika drives the impact of the AGLN and its Fellows by managing strategic impact projects and partnerships as well as creating robust monitoring and evaluation (MEL) systems. This role also fuels cross-network learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among the AGLN’s Fellowships.
Shevika comes with 12 years of work experience with non-profits, governments and philanthropies across education, climate change and women and girls initiatives in the global south. Her expertise lies in community building, strategic planning, leadership development and impact measurement. Shevika served as an Advisor at the India Climate Collaborative where she managed a donor network to increase catalytic climate investments in India. Previously, Shevika spent five years at Ashoka: Innovators for the Public where she built a network of schools and social entrepreneurs working in the field of education and youth movements and expanded Ashoka’s empathy initiative across South Asia.
In 2020, Shevika founded Kuviraa, a non-partisan organization that strengthens the agency of girls and young women across India towards civic leadership and public life. Shevika has earned a BA in Economics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and a Master’s in Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford as a Chevening Scholar.
