Stephenie Maurer is the founder of newly created Arc Collective, a first-of-its-kind initiative focused on engaging the most prominent Black philanthropists and business leaders in discussions around breakthrough opportunities in the education, health, and prosperity of American communities.
Stephenie has over 25 years of experience in executing advancement, fundraising, and high-level convenings; fostering strategic partnerships and initiatives to ensure influence and capital are deployed effectively, and, public relations focused on social impact, policy, education and health. She has a successful track record designing and implementing major strategic growth programs, building effective development teams, and bringing together leaders from the public and private sectors in support of game-changing ideas and initiatives.
Prior to joining the Aspen Institute in 2017 as Vice President of Advancement, she served as Assistant Vice President and Assistant Dean of Development for the Milken Institute School of Public Health as well as the Assistant Vice President of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the George Washington University. Stephenie also led development for Safe Kids Worldwide, a global nonprofit launched by the Children’s National Medical Center. She began her career in Washington, DC with a boutique public relations firm working with clients on reputational strategy.
Stephenie is an active volunteer, community leader and mentor. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville.
