Tanzania Fair is from Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a first-time generational college graduate. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Leadership. She started her journey as an intern through the Michigan State University Study Away Program and an AmeriCorps member for AmeriCorps Public Allies in Washington, DC.
She has eleven years of experience working in youth development, community engagement, and entrepreneurship for several nonprofits and for-profit organizations. She is an entrepreneur and published author. In June 2016, she received the “Youth Leadership and Advocacy Community Impact” award. She also received the “best mini-grant recipient” award for H.Y.P.E. She has impacted 5,000 lives all around the world. She is a part of the Southern New Hampshire 2022 Marketing Campaign which filmed her story and impact in Washington, DC. She currently serves on a board as the Co-Chair for AmeriCorps Alums DC Chapter.
Her mission is to transform other people’s lives through self-love, liberation, entrepreneurship, and finding their purpose.
