Timothy J. Mason leads energy policy and climate change convenings for the Aspen Institute, including signature gatherings like Aspen Energy Week, the Aspen-Columbia Global Energy Forum, and the Aspen Winter Energy Forum as well as specialty dialogues and consensus-building initiatives which bring together top experts from industry, government, academia, and non-profits for not-for-attribution conversations about key issues in the energy system broadly, and combatting the climate crisis in particular. These dialogues seek to build relationships and broaden possibilities for a cleaner and more equitable energy future.
Previously, Timothy was Associate Director of the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy, a joint undertaking of Yale Law School and the Yale School of the Environment. Before joining Yale, Timothy worked in legislative politics and political campaigns. A Florida native, he is a graduate of the University of Florida Law School, and studied international relations at the University of Central Florida, where he was a Florida Gubernatorial Fellow.
