Valeria Andrea Buelna Sainz (San Diego, CA) is an Internationalist with experience in diplomacy and political analysis, who has specialized in Border Issues for the past 2 years. Born and raised in Mexico, Valeria lives in the Tijuana – San Diego international border; the busiest border in the world. In Tijuana, she works with the binational Non-Profit Border Angels as Program Manager, where she advocates for immigrants’ rights and helps binational students continue their education. She’s currently studying her Master’s Degree in International Affairs in the School of Global Policy and Strategy in UC San Diego. Participated in Innovation and Culture at the Border.
