Long Term Strategy Group
WHAT KIND OF A BUSINESS LEADER WILL THE WORLD NEED IN 5-10 YEARS?
Global capitalism is at an inflection point. Technology and other forces – demographic, societal, environmental, regulatory – are accelerating the depth and pace of change facing CEOs and corporate boards. How business leaders address these challenges will help determine whether companies and societies continue to flourish.
The Long Term Strategy Group brings together enterprise-level leaders working to define business success for the 21st century. Through dialogue, case examples and peer-learning, we step back to reflect on changing public expectations for companies in the face of uncertainty and short-term pressures. Our goal is to support executives to manage with agility and to consider the long term consequences of their decisions for both business and society.
FOCUS AND FORMAT
Members of the Long Term Strategy Group have the opportunity to attend custom events and invitation-only programs designed to build a diverse learning network.
The annual member-only roundtable dialogue is offered in a location designed for reflection and exchange among peers. Each year we select a contemporary challenge with the potential to deeply impact business—but with wider social consequences as well—as the focal point of case examples and story-telling. A recent roundtable focused on business disruptions, including artificial intelligence, as a lens on informed decision-making and our capacity to identify and manage the long-term signals amidst short-term pressures and noise.
