At the Aspen Institute, we are committed to making our transformative leadership development programs accessible to a diverse range of leaders. To support this mission, we offer a limited number of scholarships for the 2025 Aspen Executive Seminars, designed to provide financial assistance to individuals whose organizations may face financial constraints.

If you’re at a pivotal moment in your leadership journey, a 2025 Aspen Executive Seminar on Leadership, Values, and the Good Society offers a unique opportunity to step back, reflect on your values, and engage with other leaders through guided dialogue.

Scholarship Details

  • Award Amount: Scholarships are are contingent on the number of applications received and the availability of funds. But potential for more scholarship funding should greater need be demonstrated.
    • Up to 75% are available to leaders from small non-profit, local government, journalism, the arts, clergy, and other similar organizations with demonstrated financial need
    • 50% or less are available to corporate leaders with demonstrated financial need
  • Funding Availability: Scholarships are limited and awarded based on the number of applicants and available funds.
  • Eligibility: Scholarships are available to leaders from small non-profit, local government, journalism, the arts, clergy, other similar organizations, and corporate leaders with demonstrated financial need.
  • Rolling Applications, awarded 3 times a year (regardless of seminar chosen):
    • #1: January 31, 2025 application deadline to be considered for the February 2025 awards
    • #2: April 30, 2025 application deadline to be considered for the May 2025 awards
    • #3: July 31, 2025 application deadline to be considered for the August 2025 awards

How to Apply

To apply for a scholarship for the 2025 Aspen Executive Seminar, please follow the steps below:

Step 1) Complete this Scholarship Application – Click the button below to fill out our scholarship application form via Form Assembly.

Step 2) Send in Supporting Information – Provide the following information in a nomination letter from an individual, company, or organization that can approve your participation:

    • An endorsement of your participation in the Aspen Executive Seminar.
    • A demonstration of need for financial assistance, including an outline of the financial status of your organization and a guarantee of funds & travel support for the tuition not covered by scholarship.

      Step 3) Submit Your Completed Application Before the Close of an Award Period – Ensure that your application and all supporting documents are submitted before the relevant deadline:

      • Round 1 deadline: January 31, 2025 (Award determinations are shared in February 2025)
      • Round 2 deadline: April 30, 2025 (Award determinations are shared in May 2025)
      • Round 3 deadline: July 31, 2025 (Award determinations are shared in August 2025)
