BOI collects and analyzes the only ongoing series of data on the US microenterprise development field. Through our MicroTracker program, BOI collects standardized performance and outcome metrics to measure the work of microenterprise organizations and the experiences of the individuals they support.
The data collected through MicroTracker’s data collection efforts – the US Microenterprise Census and our EntrepreneurTracker client outcomes survey – are compiled into reports that highlight key statistics on the field. BOI has also produced other survey and longitudinal studies that have yielded insights into the effectiveness of microenterprise development organizations.
