The inaugural roundtable of the Initiative on Smart Energy and Network Technologies (INSENT) took place in Queenstown, Maryland in May of 2013. A collaboration between the Communications & Society Program and the Energy & Environment Program of the Aspen Institute, the Initiative embraces the information, communication and technology revolution to encourage a new vision for our nations energy sector. This report Advancing Smart Electricity Networks captures the insights and opinions of those participating members and highlights the potential economic and consumer benefits of a new network system.
