In CJRI’s 2019 founding report, Ending This Place of Torment: A Framework for Transforming the Criminal Justice Continuum, we take a look at comprehensive approaches to reforming the entire “criminal justice continuum,” with an emphasis on how each segment of this continuum has a direct causal effect on the others.
The report puts forward a framework that demands recognition of the reality of the lived experiences of individuals caught in what is often an intergenerational cycle of justice involvement.
