Media and Values: Issues of Content, Community and Intellectual Property, the report of the 2007 Aspen Institute Forum on Communications and Society (FOCAS), frames the debates surrounding such topics as offensive, harmful or missing content; fair use, new business models and international approaches to intellectual property; and local media and the future of democracy. The report also offers constructive suggestions for resolving several of the more contentious challenges that have accompanied developments in new media.
