More than 20 years after her testimony at the US Supreme Court confirmation hearing for Clarence Thomas, law Professor Anita Hill speaks out at the Aspen Institute. Hill is the subject of a new documentary Anita, which was screened at the Institute as part of the NEW VIEWS Documentaries and Dialogue series. After the screening, Hill joined Marcia Greenberger, co-president of the National Women’s Law Center, in a Q & A on the movie and her thoughts on women’s rights in the workplace today. During the discussion, Hill describes how she was told that her testimony would scare other women from coming forward with harassment claims.
