While there are many fine community colleges across the nation, only one will merit the distinction of winning the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.
The $1 million Aspen Prize is the nation’s signature recognition for America’s community colleges—showcasing exemplary institutions that are achieving high levels of student success and equity. Aspen Prize colleges prove that strong outcomes and rapid improvement are possible for all types of community colleges and student populations.
For the first time, the Aspen Prize ceremony will be virtual, and open to the public. This one-hour webcast will illuminate the vision and strategies that lead to equitable student success, explore the role of community colleges in accelerating opportunity and rebuilding communities, highlight stories from students about how community colleges changed their lives, and, of course, reveal the winner and top finalists for the 2021 Aspen Prize. Our featured speakers are First Lady Jill Biden and U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona.
Kindly register for the webcast in advance and share the opportunity with your colleagues and community (https://tinyurl.com/55hcnkjj). We look forward to your participation on May 18.
