Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, whose third novel, Americanah, was selected by the New York Times as one of the 10 Best Books of 2013, joined Aspen Institute Arts Program Director Damian Woetzel to discuss the role of literature and the arts in our discourses on race and gender. Adichie is a MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship Awardee, and was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time Magazine in 2012.
