John Damon, CEO of Canopy Children’s Solutions and an Aspen Institute Health Innovators Fellow, has devoted his career to aiding children facing mental health struggles. Initially an individual endeavor linked to his fellowship venture, John’s project took an inspiring turn. Fueled by the growing urgency surrounding youth mental health in the US, his focus shifted from a solo effort to a dynamic collaboration.
He joined forces with fellow Health Innovators in his class to conceive a mega-venture called “Canopy Anywhere,” a revolutionary tech-driven mental health care platform. This transformative initiative is designed to systematically address the underlying causes of the mental health crisis affecting the youth, with the ultimate aim of instilling hope—a vital component of overall well-being.
