Despite its short life span, the Bauhaus became one of the 20th century’s most influential
experiments in art, architecture and design. It was more than a school, a movement, or a style, and even after its untimely demise, its legacy continues to influence modernism. Today, it is remembered, vilified, and lauded in infinite variations. But what does the Bauhaus mean in the 21st century? In this closing session, our experts reflect on the many diverse, divergent, and at times even divisive ways in which the spirit of the Bauhaus lives on 100 years after its inception.
